Blogging

My first post!

After reading and being inspired by the many bloggers on the web, I've decided to put the pension on the line and join in the fun and games.

I will try not to make it just a rant but I make no promises about that, everything in here will be inspired by what has happened at work - warts and all.

Wish me luck...

Found via Inspector Gadget. Excellent start. Don't be afraid to rant; it's quite cathartic.

Thanks very much all - and Mick, I'm too jealous to reply fully.

But yes, the nee nar button is useful. I often wish for one on my own car when sitting in traffic.

retired yank armoured truck guard here, came via "the lawdog files" which, if you have not seen them i heartily reccommend. the lawdog is a serving texas peace officer with an interesting fund of tales and a wry sense of humour. for myself, i've got no stories, i was lucky enough to go through my career with no excitement, when you're driving a couple of megabucks of someone elses money about the countryside boredom is a good thing. back to the lawdog, you might read the stories of "sumdood", you've likely dealt with his british cousin "sumbloke" on occasion.

Nice blog. It's refreshing to read articles by someone who can write in an interesting and well constructed manner.

For the record, however, your choice of Blogger theme is awful! The massive contrast between the black background and the white text actually gives me double vision (my eyesight is near-perfect normally), so I'll stick to reading your RSS feed from now on.

Keep up the otherwise outstanding work.
