Was good to see so many officers with poppies on their uniforms when I was out and about this weekend. Actually I think more people generally have been wearing them this year. It's a great thing to see.

I did have a poppy and unfortunately it got destroyed by various attempts on it's life caused by the seatbelt..

On the other side of my vest is my radio so can't put it there.

However "I" know that I've paid for my poppies, I know that I think about the soldiers still in battles around the world and who have fought to protect us through wars past. I know that it's in my heart... so I don't need to wear the poppy..

Needless to say however that the cars I drive are now littered with various bits of my various poppies.

Couldn't agree more, although I'm on my TENTH already thanks to seatbelts and several drunk people who didn't feel like doing what we were asking them to. welcome back dude.

Hear Hear!

I have only destroyed 2 poppies this year. No 3 is looking a bit tatty, but I now wear it on the collar of my work fleece, they seem to last longer there. The pins, however....Ouch!

Your poppies are nicer than our poppies, we don't have a leaf. But I've gone through about 10 so far, and I'll wear them with respect.
